I totally believe in the law of attraction.
I believe that you attract the things that are most frequently in your thoughts. I believe that your life experience is created by your thoughts.
Modern consensus among New Thought thinkers is that the Law of Attraction says people’s thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) dictate the reality of their lives, whether or not they’re aware of it. Essentially “if you really want something and truly believe it’s possible, you’ll get it”, but putting a lot of attention and thought onto something you don’t want means you’ll probably get that too.
I am of the thought that is you really want something you will have to put some effort into getting it.
yes, I absolutely know it is true but is is not as easy to use as most think. You really have to have a good imagination & to be able to come up with what you want. You have to believe cause if you don’t what you do believe is what you create. I am 50 & when I was younger like my teens I could manifest what I wanted so easily. I was able to do things as I got older but it was more effort. I am not working on manifesting my perfect job & I have ended up settleing for something rather than going for the perfect job. So I suggest you get the dvd on it & get the dvd by Louise Hay “You can heal your life”. & use it but understand it is based on your belief & sometimes it isn’t clear about what we believe. I have used it often & yes it does work but only to the degree you can control your thoughts.EDIT: I saw the person aboves comment that you have to put effort into things. LOA is about doing that but you don’t always have to do that. You have to have the belief. I have seen people only have the belief & get what they wanted…. I know a couple who wanted to buy a car & yet they were so busy they decided the car would have to come to them. One day the husband’s brother stopped in & said that his nieghbor borrowed his truck so he was using his neighbor’s car. Well, the car had a “for sale” sign on it & they ended up buying it….I know I looked for years to find a house & everytime I would get close something would happen. I finally sat down & did what I call a spiritual mind treatment which is a focused visualization of what I wanted & it is a great story but to make it sure I have lived in the house I described now for 22 years.
I believe in it. It’s not just some cosmic voodoo, although I believe there is a spiritual propety to this law. But there are a lot of inherent psychological principles activated in this law that most overlook: YOur state of mind, ways of interacting with others, etc. all create an atmoshphere wherein you recognize opportunities all around you. The truth is, that ways to do whatever you want are always there, it’s your ability to tune into them that changes. There is a free E-book by Dr, Joe Vitale who was on the Secret, at mindpowernow.info, that goes further into the principles of the secret.
