How to always be happy or joyful at all times?
How do you not let the outside situations or circumstances affect your insides? If you think about it, your mind never really changes or has to but everything outside of your mind does change, so happiness shouldn’t be determined by what’s happening on the outside because it’s always changing and unstable, happiness should come from within.

happiness and all emotions are inextricably tied to the outside, because your emotions are evolved adaptations meant to motivate you to do things in the world that maximize your reproductive potential. So when people are making fun of you, you feel bad, and that is supposed to motivate you to change your circumstances so you won’t be so low status (because people who are in a disrespected position in society do not reproduce as much). and similarly, when there is a bear in front of you, you feel fear, and that is supposed to motivate you to run from the bear or take some other action that brings you into safety. happiness will increase if you surround yourself with loving and accepting people, who create a bubble for you to perceive yourself as good within it.
Anyone who IS happy and joyful all the time is a psychotic. Anyone who TELLS you they are happy and joyous all the time is a liar.

Sustained “happiness” is called contentment.
The tranquil state of being reasonably satisfied with the state of things. It is attainable when faith in the outcome can be maintained.
There are wars between men and young men will die. It is a horror that should not be happening, but I also understand that these things must happen for man to resist evil until the day that good overcomes.
Man continues the struggle that would better be fought at the lectern, but this reality will continue until man learns better. It does not change what I am or what my contribution will be. I am content that I have good works to do and that I have the wisdom to do that work. I will live only so long and then my work will be given to my successors. The light of knowledge has been introduced into the darkness and I am only one of those lights. If I only give light to one other struggling person, my life is fulfilled, and I have fulfilled myself many times over. I am content with my purpose and I am happy.
Not the flitting elusive giddy state of happy, but deeply contented happy. I live here. It is my home.
